April showers bring May flowers and Spring has sprung here in LA, friends! We can’t believe that the year is going by so quickly, but are so grateful to have you here to continue our crypto journey with us. Let us tell you a bit about what we’ve been up to:
New York Blockchain Week
A whirlwind of conferences, networking, and client parties, our CEO, Kelley Weaver, Director of Brand Strategy, Laura Jaye Cramer, and Account Executive, Conor O’Higgins, took New York by storm for New York Blockchain Week. We attended Consensus, Ethereal, and Token Summit — and even had time to squeeze in the annual Coin Center Dinner with our clients Blockdaemon and Netvote.

Traveling seems to be a common interest amongst the Melrose staff. Collectively we have: studied abroad in Copenhagen, taken a wind-chilled trip around Iceland, backpacked through Europe, floated down a Montana river, and many more exciting places. This month we clocked some serious airline miles covering three different continents!
Our Director of Operations, Jesse, had a tropical getaway to Belize with her fiancé! The sunburn was worth the chance to swim with the manatees.
Our COO, PJ, traveled to Thailand this month for a wedding and we won’t even try to pretend like we aren’t jealous. Check out this amazing view!
Our Office Manager, Tamara, strolled the cobblestone streets of Paris, baguette in hand, for a relaxing week with her hubby.
Finally, our Senior Content Strategist, Nikki, heads to Michigan to begin production on her very first feature-length film. We are so incredibly amazed and inspired by her passion for storytelling and can’t wait to see the finished product! Best of luck, Nikki!
Company culture continues to be more and more of a priority to the up-and-coming workforce. At Melrose we believe that a happy employee is a productive employee, so we make sure to get out of the office, stretch our legs, and incorporate team building activities to foster a positive work environment. This month, we’ve added team yoga to the schedule! Our office has the perfect front yard to partake in a relaxing stretching and breathing routine before we start our work day.
We also had a blast at the interactive museum, The Happy Place. Cue the confetti and pass around the cake pops!
What about our clients? Some highlights…
- ABC-7 covered our newest client, Spl.yt.
- Blockdaemon was featured in The Merkle.
- The Guardian published a piece about Loci.
- CryptoKnights interviewed Netvote.
Stay tuned for next month’s roundup – we have a few exciting announcements to make!
