It is officially Fall and we couldn’t be more excited! October was a jam-packed month here at Melrose, attending SF Blockchain Week, LA Blockchain Week, Crypto Invest Summit, Genesis Blockchain Summit, and much more!

Dave Siemer, Founder of Genesis, interviewed with Blocktribune. In the article, he discusses how to be successful consultants in the blockchain space. Additionally, Siemer was featured in PYMNTS, discussing the importance of an advisory team.

Contentos announced a huge investment from Binance Labs, and the news was picked up by CoinTelegraph, MarketWatch, Benzinga, BCFocus, among others. Co-founder Mick Tsai’s op-ed that makes a case for decentralized content ecosystems was published in TechTalks!

Hit Protocol was featured in Adweek and Clicktool in Forbes.

Lastly, OpenFinance Network secured an investment from Sharpe, which was picked up by Benzinga.


Melrose PR Sr. Content Strategist, Nikki Brown, recently lent her voice to YouTube channel, New Kids on the Blockchain, discussing how blockchain technology is disrupting Hollywood. Nikki spoke on the same subject at the SoHo House as a part of an entertainment-meets-blockchain panel. Changing tracks from media to government, Nikki also spoke at USC’s School of Engineering on a “Cities on the Blockchain” panel.

Melrose PR Director of Client Strategy, Jesse Lucas, spoke to an advertising class at Pepperdine University about the overlap of publicists and marketers working together, which led into a stimulating conversation educating the class about Blockchain! At UCLA, Jesse spoke to a marketing class, discussing the same implications involving publicists and marketers. 


We kicked off October with San Francisco Blockchain Week, attending a panel by our client Juan Hernandez, CEO of OpenFinance Network.

The following week, our team attended StartEngine summit, where Dave Siemer from Genesis also spoke on a panel.

Melrose was heavily involved in Crypto Invest Summit. Day 1 of the event was hosted by Women of Crypto and featured two panels moderated by members of the Melrose team. Nikki Brown moderated the Interactive Marketing panel, featuring thoughtful tips and strategies from Zayi Reyes, VP of Marketing at MetaX, Lisa Moynihan, Chief Communications Officer of Blockchain Industries, and Calley Nye, CEO and Founder of Syren.

Our very own CEO, Kelley Weaver, moderated a sensational panel of heavy-hitting CEOs in the blockchain space. The star-studded panel featured insights from Crystal Rose, CEO of SENSE, Jessica Versteeg, CEO of Paragon, Emily Bush, Co-founder of shEOS and General Partner at Decentra, and Sarah Austin of SOMA Coin.

Additionally, Co-founder of Contentos, Mick Tsai, graced the pitch stage, educating the audience on the awesome features and capabilities Contentos has to offer. Lastly, Toby McComas, CRO, of OpenFinance Network spoke on a panel about security tokens and evolution of the regulatory landscape. Quite an eventful string of conferences for Melrose and our clients!
